BEDFORD – Nominations are being accepted for the 2023 Chamber Awards that will be presented at our 107th Annual Dinner on Friday, August 18. We are asking the general public for nominations for the awards listed below.
2023 Business Beautification Award:
This award will go to a business that has made improvements to its physical appearance and deserves recognition. Nominations should include the name of the business, a description of the work that was done to the property, and images of the improvement (if available). You can also submit your nominations with an ONLINE FORM available on our website, bedfordchamber.com.
Last year’s winner: Lincoln Plaza Pharmacy.
2023 Community Service Award:
Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond the normal duties of citizenship for this community? If so, please consider nominating them. Online Form submissions or Letters of Nomination should include details about the nominee’s work and volunteerism, as well as their contact information.Â
Past 5 recipients: George McNichols, Brad Dykes, Susan Miller, Bill Morris, and Joseph W. Elliott
2023 Small Business of the Year:
A business with less than 100 staff that has seen significant growth or change recently and/or played a key part in community development.
Last year’s winner: Magic Morning Bakery.
2023 Non-Profit of the Year:
Nominate a local non-profit organization that has made significant strides in the past year to successfully address its mission while enriching lives in Lawrence County for the better.
Last year’s winner: Hoosier Uplands.
Nominations for these four awards should be submitted by July 21, via the ONLINE FORM
at bedfordchamber.com or you can email your nomination in letter form to
member@bedfordchamber.com. Nominees must be Bedford Chamber Members.
