BEDFORD – Yesterday at Bedford’s Planning and Zoning meeting, the board approved the subdivision of property near U Street belonging to Jay Nelson into 29 separate parcels in preparation for a new housing addition.
Nelson is partnering with Terry Waldon in the construction, and the request was presented by Travis Norman.
During the meeting, Travis, Jay, and Terry respectively addressed the issues presented by those in the residences surrounding the projected build site, including a lengthy document written by Dale Platteter, that posed fifteen personal concerns.
After discussion, the board moved to approve the sub-division, but specified only the agreement to divide the property in preparation for the houses. The movement does not decide how the issues presented would be addressed.
