CROWN POINT – During an upcoming Breakfast-and-Learn event hosted by the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association (NWIIWA), three senior special agents from the IRS will be discussing topics about fraud in a special presentation titled “Don’t Take the Bait.” Their guidance will contain vital information for businesses and individuals about keeping financial futures protected.

IRS Senior Special Agent Poulter serves as the Bank Secrecy Act Coordinator in the Northern Judicial District of Indiana. Senior Special Agent Smulski has investigated potential criminal violations for the last 18 years in the areas of tax fraud, employment tax, money laundering, identity theft, and public corruption. And finally, Senior Special Agent O’Connor has spent the past 12 years investigating potential criminal tax violations.
