LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Horse and Pony show took place at 10 a.m. this morning at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds. Those of you who didn’t watch, you missed out on a lot of fun!
The first event was an egg carry. Participants carried a raw egg on a spoon while maneuvering through a walk, a trot, and then a horse-back relay race, all with egg-in-spoon.
Despite egg-dropping and missteps, or Wyatt Blais eating one of the raw eggs – (or maybe because of that) it was a blast to attend.
