Jimmy Dean Skeen, 59, of Orleans, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.
Born September 29, 1963, in Paoli, he was the son of Jimmy Franklin and Wilma Jean (Mitchell) Skeen.
Jimmy was a 1982 graduate of Orleans High School and worked in construction as an operating engineer. He was a member of the Orleans Christian Church. Jimmy loved riding his motorcycle and being around his grandkids.
Surviving are his children, Jeremiah (Destiny) Skeen of Orleans and Jesse Skeen of Orleans; grandchildren, Bristol Leigh, Madden Franklin, Lexington RuthAnn, Wrigley Wayne, Landry MaeLynne, Beckham Dean, and Ryker James; sister, Cindy (Greg) Skeen Terry of Bowling Green, Kentucky; mother of the children, Donita Kay Skeen of Orleans; and companion, Julie Kenny of Orleans.
His parents preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen with graveside service at a later date with Pastor Tom Bostic officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
