Washington County head dispatcher retires

SALEM – Washington County Sheriff Brent Miller and his staff congratulated Tammy Shanks on her recent retirement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

The Sheriff’s Department recently held a celebration party for Shanks and recognized her 20 years of service to the citizens of Washington County. Shanks started her career as a dispatcher for the sheriff’s department and was later promoted to the position of head dispatcher.
