OOLITIC – Following years of being misnamed, on July 20, 2023, a motion was made by the NLCS board in regular session to re-instating Dollens Elementary to its original name to prevent further confusion.
In the last three to four years, the school was referred as the K-8 Campus and was more recently referred to as Oolitic Elementary. The variety of names proved troublesome and confusing.
The movement to reinstate the name as Dollens Elementary passed unanimously.
