LAWRENCE COUNTY – Yesterday’s county council meeting saw the approval of a $25,000 transfer from the Rainy-day funds to the Repairs section, for maintenance and repairs for the Lawrence County Courthouse plaza.
There is a need for more funding as the appropriation is short of funds. The $25,000 transfer will cover the costs.
The repairs were made to the heating and cooling systems in the Courthouse over the course of the year as problems arose.
