CROWN POINT – Organizers of the 2023 NWIBRT Hard Hat Charity Golf Outing are pleased to announce that four local nonprofits have been selected to receive donations from this year’s event.
The golf outing is arranged by leaders from multiple prominent Northwest Indiana companies as a fun way to raise money for charity and safety programming throughout the region.
The 2023 nonprofits that will receive donations will be:
- BCH, Inc.
- Northwest Indiana Influential Women’s Association (NWIIWA)
- Southern Lake County Conservation Club
- Tradewinds Services
Last year’s 2022 golf outing raised $35,000 for five local nonprofit organizations. This year, officials are hoping for the chance to raise even more.
The remaining proceeds from the event will be used to support safety and educational programming for NWI businesses through NWIBRT’s collaborative initiatives.
“Our committee is very proud to support each one of this year’s selected nonprofits because their work aligns with NWIBRT’s philosophies to continually make NWI a better place for everyone that lives and works here. Each one of these four organizations touches countless lives each year and provides opportunities for advancement, happy memories, and safe homes. We’re grateful for this opportunity to give back,” said Tina Stevens from Iron Workers Local #395, co-chair of the 2023 NWIBRT Hard Hat Golf Committee.
The 2023 NWIBRT Hard Hat Charity Golf Outing is scheduled for September 15th at the White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point, IN.
