INDIANAPOLIS — Employers looking to improve the health and productivity of their workers are encouraged to send representatives to the 2023 Indiana Wellness Summit on September 13-14 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis.
The two-day summit is a partnership between the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Wellness Council of Indiana (WCI) and brings together Hoosier health and wellness professionals to offer best practices that foster enhanced well-being for Indiana’s workplaces and communities.
“Mental health and addiction are certainly at the forefront of our work at the moment,” says Jennifer Pferrer, WCI executive director. “But there’s so much more to help employers navigate, like family benefits and the emergence of AI technology, and we’re excited to dive into these topics during this year’s summit.”
“This event is relevant for organizations of all sizes and industries, no matter their current level of wellness programming,” Pferrer adds. “We’ll connect them with peers, experts, resources, and data to help them positively influence the cultures of their workplaces.”
Other items on the agenda include forming a family, legal/compliance, building a culture of wellness, incorporating and evaluating technology, managing pharmacy spending/biosimilars, and using data to inform wellness programming.
The summit will feature over 30 educational sessions, a wellness expo, a new hangout hub, the Awards Luncheon, complimentary headshots, and more.
The keynote presentations include “How to Successfully Break the Mental Health Stigma and Effectively Support Employees” and “Addressing the Heart and Soul of Employee Well-Being.”
The cost to attend is $449 for Indiana Chamber or WCI members or $549 for non-members. Single-day registrations are $349 or $449, respectively. Early bird pricing ($50 off) ends August 12. Registration links and the full agenda are available at www.indianawellnesssummit.com.
