NASHVILLE – The Brown County Community Foundation is hosting an event to help not-for-profit groups.
The Foundation’s Organizations for Nonprofit Excellence will be holding a networking breakfast for local agencies at the Brown County Inn on August 29th. It is open to board members, volunteers, or staff members of local groups. It will start at 8 a.m.
On August 30th there will be a workshop with six local donors who will explain how and why they make contributions. It will be moderated by Erika Rudd, the senior director of major and principal gifts for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The donors will answer questions about their giving roles and their goals with their philanthropy. That will begin at 6 p.m. at the Brown County Historical Society.
