BEDFORD – The North Lawrence County School approved an overhaul of its website and interface at yesterday’s board meeting, making the transition from Blackboard, a reportedly inefficient and troublesome software, to Finalsite.
Blackboard was purchased by Finalsite in September of 2022.
This new website will facilitate a streamlined, user-friendly interface for students, parents, and staff, as well as a smoother, more functional technical side.
This change will cost the school $36,358.33 for the first service period, a price that is lower than the previous cost for Blackboard.
