MONROE COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close the Monroe St. approach at State Road 46 to complete milling and paving work this week in Monroe County.
On or after Wednesday, August 23, crews will begin milling work, followed by paving at the intersection of Monroe Street and State Road 46. The approach will remain closed while work is in progress. Milling and paving are expected to be complete by the end of the day on Thursday, August 24, weather permitting.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, consider worker safety and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
