BEDFORD – Officer Taylor Daugherty completed her probationary period with the Bedford Police Department and was welcomed to the BPD as a permanent status.
Officer Daugherty, who has always wanted to be a police officer, was sworn in roughly a year ago by Mayor Sam Craig. Her sister Whitney serves the Lawrence County Sherriff’s Department as a deputy.
Having met expectations and completed her probationary period, she can continue to fulfill her childhood dreams of law enforcement and community service by helping to keep our city safe.
