LOOGOOTTEE – The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth is hosting a Job Fair on Thursday, August 24 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Martin County Fairgrounds at 2668 US 50 in Loogootee.
The job fair has attracted more than 20 businesses ranging from industry leaders like USG, Grain Processing Company, Graber Construction, Jasper Engines, and Crane Army Ammunition Activity.
There will be job opportunities for everyone attending.
From 1-2 p.m., there will be a workshop on “How to Work a Job Fair” which gives participants tips for approaching employers and what questions to ask.
To date, 50 high school students have signed up to participate in this session. Prospective employees should bring an updated resume, and information to complete a job application and dress appropriately for a job interview.
