BEDFORD – Bedford City’s Fall Clean Sweep is coming soon, so it’s time to get ready before you scramble at the last minute. Get rid of old appliances and junk that you don’t need or can’t use.
Running September 9 through 18, the Bedford City Fall Clean Sweep will pick up residential items such as:
- Old tires
- Appliances
- Construction materials
- Carpet
- Extra household trash
These services are for Bedford City residential use only, not for businesses. Extra household trash can also be picked up anytime in moderation by calling (812) 279-9222.
Call any time between September 9 and 18 to get a work order for your items. Note that it will take longer than usual due to the influx of work orders that happen during the clean sweep.
If you can’t reach anyone when calling or are calling after hours, leave your address and the items needing pickup on their voicemail that’s available to you 24/7.
