BLOOMINGTON – If you’re looking for a fun, free evening out, check out the outdoor stage at Switchyard Park in Bloomington Sunday night at 6 p.m. to enjoy a concert by the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.
Join the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra as they kick off their 54th season, all on the theme of Adventure. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you prefer pops or classical.
Musical selections will feature film music favorites from Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Pirates of the Carribean, and more.
Plus, this year’s Youth Concerto Competition runner-up, Miranda Isbitts, will wow you with the third movement of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.
The concert is completely free out at the Switchyard Park outdoor stage. Show up early with your kids to experience an instrument petting zoo starting at 6 p.m., then spread out your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy an adventure for your ears.
