WASHINGTON – On Thursday, August 24, officers with the Washington Police Department officers met with a victim who had advised that they had been assaulted on Grand Avenue.
While speaking to the victim, officers observed the victim had severe bruising and swelling.
Officers learned the victim had been assaulted by fists and with an object.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested, 49-year-old Norvin Bonilla Cordero on charges of aggravated battery and criminal confinement.
Assisting throughout the investigation were the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Daviess County EMS, and Hope’s Voice.
