BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington farmer’s market has Tuesday market days during the summer, and with September coming up, the chance to snag fresh-grown vegetables and produce is nearing its end.
The market is held on Tuesdays at the Switchyard Park in Bloomington from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and has a great selection of fruit, vegetables, and even fresh, free-range eggs.
While currently only comprised of five or six stalls when WBIW went out to check yesterday, business seems to be thriving. With a full parking lot and plenty of guests, the rich assortment of produce will not go to waste.
If you’re not an early bird, or can’t make it out to Saturday’s farmer’s market, the advent of fall is quickly going to remove the option of an evening market.
Get out and get going, there’s delicious, fresh food to be found in supporting local farmers and agriculture.
September is the last month for the summer market. Remember, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Switchyard Park in Bloomington.
