James “Jim” William Mundy, 83, passed away on August 19, 2023, in Arlington, Oregon.
Jim was a previous resident of Cornelius, Oregon, and Detroit, Michigan. Jim was born May 28, 1940, and was predeceased by his parents James Riley Mundy and Lena Mundy of Bedford, Indiana.
Jim is survived by many loved ones, Birgit Mundy, his wife of 61 years whom he met while stationed in Germany for the Army. Jim had 4 children a daughter Susan Brauckman, a son Mark, and his wife Simone Mundy, a son Brian, and his wife Ange Mundy, a son Tyson, and his wife Shannon Mundy, along with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Jim enjoyed playing the guitar and singing throughout his entire life. He was also a gunsmith and
enjoyed restoring old pieces, along with being an avid hunter throughout the Pacific Northwest.
