Webster H. Bundy, Jr., 96, of Mitchell, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at IU Health Hospital in Bloomington.
He was born February 26, 1927, in Bedford to Webster and Lola (Ping) Bundy. He married Nancy Bridwell, Sarah Chambers, and Janet Boruff and they all preceded him in death.
Webster was a graduate of Bedford High School and a retired stone draftsman. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, and a member of Hillcrest Christian Church, American Legion Gillen Post #33, Mitchell VFW, and the Bedford Masonic Lodge.
Surviving to cherish Webster’s memory are three daughters, Jane (Stewart) Rariden, Gail Wagoner, and Kelly Bundy; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Webster was preceded in death by his parents; wives; and one sister, Betty Nichols.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, at Gilgal Cemetery, Heltonville, with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Gillen Post #33.
Services for Webster have been entrusted to the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Bedford.
