LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission brought an update on the Lehigh Road Project this morning.
The paving has been completed on Meridian Road in Mitchell, beginning at the intersection of Meridian Road and State Road 60, and going north all the way to Mill Creek.
Jeff Quyle said after the meeting that this update “should help to compensate for all the construction traffic we’ve been having the last few years,” making it easier for local traffic as well as construction work to get where they are going in a more timely manner.
There are plans to begin paving Mill Creek next year.
