Jackie Blane Chastain, 61, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, in Bedford. He was born November 28, 1961, in Bedford, to Jackie Blane Chastain and Carolyn Sue (Thomas) Chastain.
Blane worked for many years as a stone cutter and carpenter, most recently for Adam Chastain General Contractors.
Surviving to cherish Blane’s memory is his mother, Carolyn Sue Chastain of Bedford; wife, Kim Reid of Bedford; two daughters, Destiny (Jason Lomax) Chastain of Paoli and Jade (Clay) Lumpe of Bedford; three sons, Josh (Sarah) Chastain of Brownsburg, Joseph (Brittany) Chastain of Bedford and Trenton Chastain of Bedford; grandchildren, Bella, Charlee, Will, Ben, Eve, Henry, Bexley, Bo, Jack and Hank; and two brothers, Shane (Michelle) Chastain of Bedford and Vane (Susan) Chastain of Bedford.
Blane was preceded in death by his father; and one daughter, Alexandria Mary Sue Chastain.
Funeral services for Blane will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, Bedford, with Pastor Brent O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, September 20th, from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
