SEYMOUR – Seymour Fire Department firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire this morning at Andersons Fertilizer Distribution Plant at 101 Argrico Lane in Seymour.
The fire started when a dryer malfunctioned and began smoking.
The area where the dryer was located did not contain any flammable materials.
Andersons Fertilizer Distribution Plant is a wholesale fertilizer distribution terminal, storing and shipping dry fertilizer materials, including pelletized lime.
