LAWRENCE CO. – Start practicing your favorite persimmon recipe, the Persimmon Pudding and Novelty contest is coming up.
Registration for the event is September 30, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Mitchell First Church of God.

PUDDING RULES
- All pudding pieces must be in a 4″ x 4″ square on a plain white 8″ or 9″ plate covered with plastic or wax paper.
- No toppings
- Bring your winning recipe on a recipe card. Recipes written on paper will not be accepted.
NOVELTY RULES
- Novelty desserts can be anything EXCEPT cookies.
- Persimmon pulp MUST be the main ingredient.
- Recipe must be written on a recipe card and provided at the time of judging.
- Please include the name of the dish on the front of the card and the name of the entrant on the back of the card. Recipes written on paper will not be accepted.
