Tamara Lou Coulter, 57, of Bedford, passed away at 9:39 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, with her dog, Ebony, by her side.
Born January 17, 1966, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Orville “Buck” and Hallie (Conley) Coulter. She was employed at Caravan Contracting Agency for General Motors Sanitation. She was previously the owner of the Country Barn Café for three years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going camping, live music, vacations, racing, and spending time at home with her animals.
Survivors include her significant other, Travis Kern, of Bedford; her mother, Hallie Coulter, of Bedford; two sisters, Kimberly Coulter and Melissa Coulter-Sampson; a niece, Cortney Colson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins; her life-long best friends, Teresa “Sissy” Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Orville; a brother, Carl Coulter; a nephew, Seth David Jones; her grandparents; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23 rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Reno Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
