INDIANAPOLIS, – Starting the evening of Sunday, September 24, Belmont Avenue west of State Road 37 is scheduled to close for up to three weeks for paving work.
During the closure, local access to Light House Landing apartments from Belmont Avenue will also be closed. During this time, access to Light House Landing Apartments will be limited to the Banta Road entrance on the north side of the complex.
The official detour will follow Banta Road to Tibbs Avenue to Southport Road.
On or after Sunday, October 1, Banta Road east and west of S.R. 37 will close through mid-October to lower the road under the future I-69 bridge.
On the west side of S.R. 37 the detour will follow Banta Road to Tibbs Avenue and Southport Road. On the east side of S.R. 37 the detour will use Harding Street to Southport Road.
