BLOOMINGTON – Coaches are needed for the fall/winter and winter/spring basketball seasons at the Twin Lake Recreation Center. The deadline to register is Friday.
No prior coaching experience is necessary.
The two seasons include October – December and January – March.
The Twin Lake Recreation Center is located at 1700 West Bloomfield Road in Bloomington.
Teams are coed through grade 3, and boys and girls in grades 4-6 play on separate teams.
Seasons include one practice and one game per week. Practice times are at the coaches’ discretion any time between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Coaches must be 18 years old or older, pass a criminal history background check, and complete a youth coaching certification course through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. A mandatory coaches meeting and player draft will be held on October 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center.
