SHOALS – Yesterday, Thursday, September 28, Sarann Weeks , also known as “Nana”, instructed Shoals students how to make homemade applesauce and apple butter.
Sarann Weeks lives in Paoli, and she taught and retired from the Paoli Community Schools.
The students reportedly loved the educational experience.
Shoals Shop Class said “The students could probably be your salesmen for how much they loved it. Thank you for your time, demonstration, and knowledge. With having our own orchard it’s important to know all the possibilities we have with our apple harvest.”
