Jackson Ryan Shelton, 3 of Mitchell passed away on September 26, 2023, at his home in Mitchell. He was born in Bloomington on November 16, 2019. Jackson was a preschool student at Hatfield Elementary in Mitchell.
July 1, 2022 – September 26, 2023
Madelyn Lea Shelton, 1 of Mitchell passed away on September 26, 2023, at her home in Mitchell. She was born in Bedford on July 1, 2022.
The children are survived by their father, Ryan Shelton of Mitchell, one sister, Amiyah Shelton of Mitchell, grandparents, John and Denise McCormick of Mitchell, great grandmother, Penny Parish of Mitchell, three uncles, Shane (Lyndsey) Shelton of Indianapolis, Nick Shelton of Greenwood, Cadden McCormick of Mitchell, and cousin Ellie Shelton of Greenwood.
The children were preceded in death by their grandfather, Nick Shelton, and great-grandfather, Charles “Butch” Parish. Also preceded in death by great grandparents, Paul M. McCormick and Caroline McCormick.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Church of Christ, 1004 W. Main St. Mitchell, entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Mitchell Church of Christ.
