BLOOMINGTON – On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce will host its Community Conversations: Bridging Perspectives – Business & Service Providers at the Monroe County History Center.
Business leaders and community service providers will convene for breakfast to discuss the wide range of challenges that mental health and substance use disorders present in our community. This dialogue will provide business representatives an opportunity to share their experiences and ask questions to the service providers who can offer insights on building a strategy for a successful pathway forward.
Panelists will include:
Doug Bruce – Tabor Bruce Architecture, President
Rev. Forrest Gilmore – Beacon Inc., Executive Director
Dana Jones – Wheeler Mission, Director of Community Engagement & Services
Mary Morgan – Heading Home of South Central Indiana, Director of Housing Security
Kristen Weida – Bloomington Board of Realtors, Association Director
The event will be held at the Monroe County History Center at 202 East Sixth Street, in Bloomington from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
