BEDFORD – The Limestone Capital races are this weekend, but if you’re not one for long distances and just want to participate for fun, then the 1-Mile Fun Run is for you.
The 9th annual Limestone Capital Fun Run, sponsored by McIntyre Brothers is Saturday, October 7.
The race will start at 8:15 a.m. and finish in front of the Milwaukee Depot on the corner of 14th and J Street in Bedford.
Remember to stretch, wear comfortable shoes, and stay hydrated.
A stress-free one-mile run that will get your heart pumping – unless you would rather walk – and make you feel alive without running the bigger courses.
Or if you have little ones that just can’t go as far or keep up well, this will still let them take part without you having to carry them back. The last thing you want is to have to run with extra weight.
Just for the fun of it, bring your kids, a friend, or anyone you can talk into participating.
You can try to beat last year’s times, try to beat this year’s competitors, or even just walk and enjoy the fresh air.
