Warren E. Chaney, 80, of Bedford passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 12:40 p.m. at his home.
He was born in Bedford on May 10, 1943, to Warren and Bernice (Kern) Chaney. Warren married his wife Peggy on February 6, 2001, and she survives. Warren was a retired truck driver, retiring from Jefferson Trucking in Shoals, he served nine years in the Indiana National Guard, he was of Christian faith and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Chaney of Bedford, one son, Dwight Chaney of Bedford, two daughters, Mary Lee of Bedford, and Ruth Bauer of Bedford, one brother, Harold Chaney of Bedford, grandchildren, Eugene Chaney of Bedford, Jacqueline Tirey of Dayton, Ohio, Jason Smith, Joseph Lee, Jessica Emmons, Jarrid Bauer, and Robert Lee all of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents.
