MITCHELL – Mitchell Soccer won two rounds in sectionals this season, and one more will take them into Regionals. Standing between them and Regionals is the Sectional Championship.
Mitchell will face off against Northeast Dubois tomorrow afternoon for the Championship round of sectionals at 2 p.m., their final obstacle before Regional.
To reach the Sectionals Championship, the team bested two opponents.
- Mitchell won 2-0 against Vincennes Rivet, with goals scored by #10 Gibson Glasgow, and #8 Carl Chenault.
- Mitchell won 4-1 against Washington Catholic, with two goals scored by #10 Gibson Glasgow, and one goal each scored by #8 Carl Chenault and #17 Jaden Zapeda.
Fans, friends, and family are asked to line up before they leave along Main Street to send them off.
The bus leaves at 11:30 a.m. from MHS and will take 8th Street to Main Street, and Main to 37. Come on out around 11:30 a.m. – 11:40 a.m. and give Mitchell’s Soccer team the morale and encouragement they need to play their hardest by sending them off in style along Mainstreet.
