BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Commissioners Tuesday morning did some routine housekeeping tasks.
The commissioners appointed Donna Tlustek to the Property Tax Board of Appeals.
The Property Tax Board of Appeals reviews subjective and objective appeals from taxpayers who believe their property tax assessment is incorrect.
Sheriff Greg Day provided the inmate population numbers. As of this morning, there were 114 inmates housed at the Lawrence County Jail. Of those 87 were male, 27 were females, eight were Department of Correction holds, two were parole holds and 13 were Level 6 felons.
Sheriff Day said officers transported 10 to the Department of Corrections on Monday.
