Kathryn E. Bridges, 76, of Norman, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 9:53 p.m. at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
She was born in Leesville on January 12, 1947, to Herbert Hutchinson and Mary (Glover) Hutchinson. Kathryn married Ralph Bridges on August 26, 1963, and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2014. Kathryn received an associate’s degree in accounting from Oakland City College. She retired from Regal-Beloit in Mitchell after 20 years of service; she attended the Kingdom Hall in Bedford.
Survivors include her sons, Delbert (Kim) Bridges of Bedford, Nick (Cathie) Bridges of Norman, and Brian Bridges of Norman, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one sister, Hazel Lane of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Helen Barnett and Martha Cox, and four brothers, Herbert Hutchinson, Jr., Doc Hutchinson, Delbert Hutchinson, and David Pruett.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home with Blake Maciel. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery in Bedford. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21st, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from Noon until service time at the funeral home.
