Vester E. Jones, 64, of Bedford, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Born January 28, 1959, in Yellville, Arkansas, he was the son of Vester E. “Gene” Jones Sr. and Carolyn (Barnes) Jones. He married Veronica “Ronnie” Williams in 1987, and she survives.
Vester was self-employed with Aqua Turf Sprinkler Systems and was a High School Graduate. He was a United States Army veteran and of the Christian faith.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Vester are his wife, Ronnie; children, Billy Okeef, Jeremy Okeef, Abbeyurpen, Ray Goss, Ryan Gardner, and Andy Britt; several grandchildren; one sister, Veesha Jones; and his father and stepmother, Vester E. “Gene” Jones, Sr. and Beverly Jones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Jones; one brother, Vincent Jones; and one son, David Barton.
Cremation was chosen with no services at this time.
Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford has been entrusted with the arrangements and care for Mr. Jones.
