BEDFORD- The Bedford Parks Department and Altrusa, a local service group, have teamed up and need your help. The newly installed pickleball courts at Wilson Park need benches and trash receptacles, and it may be much easier to donate to the cause than you think.
Green Tree Plastics in Evansville is going to turn trash into treasure. They are a company that recycles plastic jugs and bottle caps into a clean, usable material and produce the items needed. For this project alone, over 3,000 pounds of bottle caps are needed, so donate by dropping off your caps at the Parks Department office at 1625 Q Street in Bedford or call 812-275-5692 for more information.
