FORT RITNER – A fire early Thursday morning in Fort Ritner destroyed a garage and three vehicles kept inside.
Shawswick, Marion Township Volunteer and Pleasant Fire Department firefighters responded to the blaze at 493 Leesville Road at 4:07 a.m.
When firefighters arrived at Joey Robbins’s home, they found the garage engulfed in flames.
“The roof and the back wall of the garage had collapsed,” said Chief Bob Brown.
A truck, van, and UTV inside the building were also destroyed.
“The fire started from a space heater in the bathroom,” added Chief Brown.
