NASHVILLE – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office announced the department is mourning the passing of one of its former K9 officers, Zoey, who died on Thursday.
The police dog began her career with her K9 Handler, Bill Southerland, in 2014.
Zoey was medically retired in 2018 due to a knee injury.
Officials said she was loved by many in the Brown County community.
