Judith D. Reef, 63, of Norman, passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born August 6, 1960, in Bedford, she was the daughter of James and Geneva (Grogan) Byrd. She married Brian Reef and he survives. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Brian, of Norman; two sons, James Byrd, of Vincennes, and A.J. Barnett, of Bedford; a sister, Glenda Wellman Nickless, and husband, Bruce, of Norman, Suzie Byrd Martinez and husband, David, of Frost Proof, FL, and AnnaLee Henderson and husband, Raymond, of Mitchell; two brothers, James Connerly and wife, Joy, of Houston, and Donnie Byrd, of Lawrence Co.; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Mark Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the Judah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
