Bedford- The BNL RBI club is hosting its annual Chili Supper and Silent Auction to raise funds for the school’s baseball team. “The money raised will go directly to the baseball team,” said BNL’s Athletic Director Jeff Callahan, “they have been having the annual chili supper for almost a decade now and the silent auction for the last 3 or 4 years. The funds will help with any extra expenses the team has.” Grab a bowl of soup and support your BNL Stars baseball team.
Some of the items in the silent auction are gift cards from local restaurants such as the Rusty Gator, Pub 15, Chicago’s Pizza, Golden Corral, Wings & Rings’ Smokin Jims, El Rancho Del Burrito, along with other business fronts such as Finney Hospitality Group and Magic Morning Bakery.
Items and merchandise have been donated by Williams Mercantile, Good Sports, Shining Moments Awards & Gifts, Verizon (Fortner), Wet Ink Designs, Maraya Kate Customs, Precision Eye Group, Pastime Memorabilia, Scentsy, Propane Direct, BNL Athletics, Joe Green, and the Indianapolis Indians.
Service vouchers have been donated by A Total Tan, Beast Elite, Hubler, Bedford Body & Paint, and BBP Mechanical.
Needless to say, there will be something for everyone to bid on. The items range in value from $25 to $500; more items will be donated before the auction begins.
Both events will take place at 5:30 in the lobby between the main gyms at BNL on Friday, January 19.
