David A. Andis, 67 of Springville passed away at 12:28 AM on Monday,
January 15, 2024, at City of Hope Cancer Center after a lengthy battle with
cancer.
Born September 29, 1956, in Lawrence County, he was the son of
Curtis and Bertha (Blake) Andis. He was a retired steel worker and was a
graduate of Oolitic High School, he loved spending time with his grandsons
and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Susan (Roll) Andis of Springville, two
daughters, Mindy Jones of Springville, and Misty O’Toole of Bedford, one
son, Cheyene Starr of Springville, five grandsons, Triston Sheets, Cameron
Sheets, Murvan Starr, Gavin Jones, and Jaxson Jones, three sisters, Janet
Morrow, Teresa Turner, and Barbara Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Andis, and
Michael Andis, two sisters, Donna Meadows, and Janice Kern, one
grandson, Hunter Starr.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at
Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in the New Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday January 22 nd , from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m.
