BLOOMINGTON — Early Monday morning, firefighters with the Monroe Fire Protection District and Ellettsville Fire Department responded to West Maple Grove Road at 2:40 a.m. after a report of a single motor vehicle accident.
While en route, firefighters were alerted that the vehicle had hit a tree and was on fire. When firefighters arrived, they found the vehicle engulfed in flames.
The occupants exited the vehicle on their own before emergency crews arrived.
Neither occupant required transportation to the hospital and was released on the scene.
