INDIANAPOLIS — The always entertaining Terry Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback and sports broadcaster, is the opening keynote speaker at the 2024 Indiana Safety and Health Conference & Expo, which runs February 26-28.
The three-day event, presented by the Central Indiana Chapter of ASSP and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in partnership with INSafe and the Coalition for Construction Safety, is the largest gathering in the state and will help attendees discover new strategies for compliance to build a safer workplace.
The conference, which Indiana Safety and Supply Co. sponsors, will include sessions on many pressing topics, including company mass shooting policies, best practices for managing your worker’s compensation program, elevating safety leadership, how to capitalize on the experience of older workers, and much more.
“There’s nothing more vital to any business than the safety of its employees and customers. Not only do the issues discussed at this conference directly impact a company’s productivity and finances, they can also be a matter of life and death,” says Kerri Begley, vice president of business education and events for the Indiana Chamber. “That’s why we’re so eager to welcome safety professionals from across the region and are grateful for our impressive slate of speakers.
“Anyone who heard Terry Bradshaw at the Indiana Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner in 2011 knows he’s a don’t-miss speaker who is always informative, entertaining, and inspirational. His presentation is one you won’t soon forget.”
In addition to being a Super Bowl MVP and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Bradshaw is an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster for FOX, actor, gospel and country music singer, breeder of champion quarter horses, and New York Times bestselling author.
Jason Kunz, the Global EHS Team + Culture Activation Lead at 3M, will be the morning general session keynote speaker on day three. Kunz will discuss the future of safety and health and unveil insights drawn from more than 220 in-depth interviews and a decade of qualitative research.
This year, an OSHA 10-Hour Course for General Industry will be offered as a full-conference add-on.
Returning are favorites such as the Indiana Forklift Rodeo, two networking receptions, and a showcase of exhibitors with many of the top companies in the category offering leading products and services at the Safety Expo.
On day three of the conference, the 2024 Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards, sponsored by Clearpath Speciality, will be presented during lunch.
