INDIANA – Jazz Road Tours offers grants of up to $15,000 to develop tours in communities nationwide.
Jazz Road Tours supports small, three- to six-site tours at various venue types, often in rural communities and other areas traditionally underserved by the genre. This artist-centric grant program from South Arts — designed to support approximately 50 tours each year — is made possible with funds from the Doris Duke Foundation with additional support from the Mellon Foundation.
Applications are now open for tours occurring July 1, 2024 – January 1, 2025. The application deadline is March 1, 2024, with additional deadlines occurring regularly through 2026.
