MITCHELL – Young baseball players looking to improve their game ahead of the upcoming season might want to consider attending Mitchell High School’s upcoming winter baseball camp, with dates set in February and March.
Training sessions, led by the 2023 regional champion Bluejackets and the team’s coaching staff, will take place on Feb. 24, March 2 and March 9.
There, they will have the opportunity to work on throwing, catching, fielding and hitting fundamentals.
The camp is open to players in grades 1-8, with grades 1-4 asked to attend the earlier session, 12-1:30 p.m. on the listed dates. Those in grades 5-8 are asked to attend from 2-4 p.m.
The cost to attend is $20 per session or $50 to attend all three. Those who attend all three sessions will receive a t-shirt. Payments can be made through cash or check at the Mitchell High School office, or through Venmo to @Sonya-Chaney.
