PAOLI – The Paoli Police Department, in collaboration with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, executed a drug bust on Thursday, February 8, resulting in arrests on North Greenbriar Drive.
A search warrant granted by Judge Steven Owens led to the discovery of a significant amount of incriminating evidence, including narcotics, firearms, and paraphernalia.
Joel Sherwood, 48, and 49-year-old Donald Smith were apprehended on multiple charges, including dealing in methamphetamine with a firearm, a Level 2 felony, possession of methamphetamine with a firearm, and possession of paraphernalia.
“The diligent efforts of law enforcement, combined with collaborative endeavors, have dealt a significant blow to drug-related activities in our community,” said Chief Randal Sanders. “The Paoli Police Department remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. We will continue to work tirelessly to combat illicit activities.”
