Susan Marie Jenkins, 73, of Radcliff, KY, passed away at 4:50 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Kentucky.
Born February 13, 1951, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Woodrow and Gladys (Henderson) Goldsby. She married Walter Jenkins on January 18, 1975, and he preceded her in death. She was a taxi dispatcher for Yellow Cab Co. in Louisville, KY, and had attended Bedford Baptist Temple.
Survivors include children Shannon Smith (Jeffrey, Jr.), of Radcliff, KY; Jamie Petri, of Clarksville, IN, and Paul Jenkins (Sherry), of New Albany, IN; four grandchildren, Mackenzie and Gabriel Petri, Jacob and Hannah Smith; a sister, Brenda Wells (Jerry), of Bedford, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Teresa Stinson, and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Scott Wiggins officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
