MITCHELL- The Marion Township Fire Department in Mitchell may be getting a new facility.
Dane Fountain was at the Redevelopment Commission meeting on February 8 to ask for partial funding from the county to help with the $1.5M expense for the new fire station.
Groundbreaking for the project will take place in mid-spring.
The topic was tabled until a later date for further discussion.
